Instructions For Those Returning to Campus

  • To check your account status, log in to the Wi-Fi key website. You can also change your Wi-Fi password at this site.

2. Click on your username

  • A new row will then appear with an option to print

3. Select 'Print' to reveal your password

  • Copy this password to use when logging into eduroam

4. Choose 'eduroam' from the Wi-Fi network options on your device

5. Enter your username

  • Your username is your CalNet ID followed by "@berkeley.edu"
  • Your CalNet ID alone will not work
  • Also, this combination of "CalNetID@berkeley.edu" might not be the same as your bConnected email address; this is okay and expected

6. Enter your password

  • Your password must be a dedicated wifi key generated at the Wi-Fi key website
  • Your CalNet passphrase will not work

Once you have completed this process the first time, your device should automatically use eduroam whenever you are within an area where it is provided.
