This is a resource directory of the most commonly requested information and financial services from the Office of the Vice Chancellor Finance.

DFL Peer-to-Peer email group

Purpose

Networking and peer-to-peer learning to share knowledge, templates, ideas, and solutions.

Mode

This is a peer-to-peer mail between the DFLs. The Office of the Vice Chancellor of Finance will not be monitoring this account.

Timing

Ad hoc, email during normal business hours Monday thru Friday.

  1. I just attended NACUBO, or similar higher education conference, and would like to share the content of what was presented.
  2. I just created a CalAnswers dashboard query and would like to share the link because it may help others pull information more quickly.

DFL Weekly Updates

Purpose

This is a weekly email listing the operational and strategic updates from the Office of the Vice Chancellor of Finance. They are typically updates related to deadlines.

Participation

DFLs are auto-enrolled

Timing

An email goes out once a week - typically on Fridays.

Examples

  1. Quarterly variance reporting will be due June 30th.
  2. Fiscal close checklists have been created and are posted for review.
  3. Please be aware that BAIRS will be retired on 12/22/18.
