As the Chancellor announced on Friday, March 13, Vice Chancellor of Finance and Chief Financial Officer Rosemarie Rae will remain on our campus in her current role.
Chancellor Christ said of Rosemarie’s decision, “We are pleased to announce that Vice Chancellor for Finance and Chief Financial Officer Rosemarie Rae has been persuaded to delay her planned retirement and will remain on our campus in her current role. As you know, Rose and her team have been instrumental in guiding us out of a major structural deficit. We remain in a precarious financial position, especially with the added challenges associated with COVID-19, so we are deeply appreciative that Rose has agreed to continue in her leadership role in support of our campus.”
VC Rae is leading the Finance Committee formed as part of the campus recovery efforts, which is reviewing the financial impact of COVID-19, modeling mitigation strategies, and planning for financial recovery.
