After our last Town Hall in the spring we asked you to complete a brief survey in order to get your suggestions on how to ensure these sessions are a good use of your time. Overwhelmingly you asked for updates on our strategic planning process and the current budget realities facing UC Berkeley, while also keeping the meeting interactive and fast-paced - so that was our plan for this event.
At the Town Hall Meeting today, we listened to some great drumming from Dr. Adisa Anderson, heard updates from CFO Rosemarie Rae about the UC Berkeley budget, discussed the strategies behind the new OGSP with our units, and took the opportunity to fill out the FY 2015 - 16 OGSP Action Plan. We also celebrated our fantastic Impact Award winners: Bahar Navab, Elizabeth Chavez, Ling Zhu, Mike Sorola, Teal Sexton, and Vanessa Wong.
