What do new undergraduates report on the Survey of New Students regarding their transition into UC Berkeley, and the resources they feel aided their transition? How do the perspectives of these students change over the course of their first year when examining topics such as the cost of attendance, and campus climate for diversity and inclusion? Using data from the 2013 Survey of New Students and the 2014 UC Undergraduate Experience Survey, an unprecedented view at changes in the student experience across the first year is examined in this Stay Day conference presentation.
