Improved BFS home page navigation now available

April 3, 2018
Berkeley Financial System Community,
The new and improved Berkeley Financial System (BFS) home page navigation is available as of today, April 3. When you log in, instead of using list menus to navigate around BFS, you'll use a tile-driven navigation. Starting today, you also must log in to BFS directly; the BLU log in option is no longer available.
Log in to BFS directly - new browser information
Be sure to log in to BFS directly using this direct link to BFS. It is no longer possible to log in through BLU. Also, note that if you log in directly to BFS and try to log in to BLU, Human Capital Management (HCM), or Campus Solutions (BCS) using the same browser, you'll be logged out of BFS. We recommend using different browsers for each of these systems if you are logging in to them simultaneously.

Improved BFS home page
The home page tiles are organized by commonly used pages within your department so that you can find what you need without clicking through a long menu. The navigation is fluid so that when you make a selection, only the links related to your selection appear. At the top of the page, the notification icon takes you to items requiring an action and the compass icon allows you to access recently visited pages, favorites, or the traditional menu. Your saved favorites, access, and the pages where you conduct your work did not change.

Training

If you haven't already, we encourage you to sign up for a webinar where we'll provide an overview of the upgraded navigation system and take questions on the new home page. Register for a webinar on the BFS Upgrade webpage.
